The Vitatron C-series 2nd generation are the second series of pacemakers that builds on Vitatron’s innovative digital technology. It is a family of digital pacemakers for patients suffering from bradycardia. New therapies are introduced to minimize patient symptoms and improve hemodynamics. Furthermore the improved interrogation and analysis of the pacemaker data, makes the pacemaker the fastest available and helps you make quick and well-informed decisions.

Digital
Vitatron C-series is the worlds first pacemaker with Digital Signal Processing (DSP). DSP switches the analogue signal into a digital signal. The digital platform offers a wide array of new possibilities to improve therapies and device functionalities. The signal processing of the digital platform is much faster, there is more storage capacity and all diagnostics are available during initial interrogation. The digital pacemaker generates more precise morphology parameters which results in a high-quality, on-screen IEGM

The Vitatron C-series continues to deliver proven therapies for bradycardia. The pacemaker determines whether to pace or not on a beat-to-beat basis All diagnostics are available during initial interrogation of the pacemaker. Therapy Advisor™ automatically and rapidly analyzes diagnostic data, giving you programming suggestions to optimize pacemaker settings. New therapies like Refined Ventricular Pacing (RVP) and Ventricular Rate Stabilization (VRS) are introduced to minimize patient symptoms and to improve hemodynamics. Furthermore, Vitatron’s beat-to-beat Mode Switching preserves a balanced ventricular rate.

VRS aims to reduce ventricular irregularity during atrial tachyarrhythmia to reduce patient symptoms.By increasing the rate to just above the average underlying ventricular rate, long VV intervals are eliminated and the occurrence of very short VV intervals is significantly reduced.

In the Vitatron C-series 2nd generation, the Therapy Advisor has been extended to include therapy-based suggestions on Ventricular Rate Stabilization (VRS) and Refined Ventricular Pacing (RVP).
